Annual Qatar Puttalamese Community Gathering 2024

The annual cultural and social gathering of the Qatar Puttalamese diaspora — Sri Lankans with roots in Puttalam District — drawing around 300 people from over 40 families. Activities included futsal matches, treasure hunts, children's challenges, and traditional community elements. Chief Guest was Sri Lankan Ambassador to Qatar H.E. Mafaz Mohideen, who addressed the gathering on unity and expatriate community ties.
