77th Sri Lanka Independence Day — Dubai Consulate

Independence Day ceremony at the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai under the theme "Towards a National Resilience Renaissance". Hosted by Consul General Alexi Gunasekera, attended by Sri Lankan expatriates from Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Programme included national flag hoisting, national anthem in Sinhala and Tamil, a two-minute silence for national heroes, and readings of presidential and prime ministerial messages. The newly renovated consulate backyard — part of the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative — was highlighted.
