Machang, Dubai's Al Quoz was all warehouses and sand, nobody went there for fun. Then around 2015-16, artists and cafes like The Courtyard started, rent was cheap so creative types moved in. Now it's super trendy with galleries and food spots, but the old industrial vibe is still there.

Machang, oya meka hari hithenava! Al Quoz was all warehouses and workshops when I first came Dubai, patta. Then around 2015-16, artists and cafes started renting cheap spaces, made it cool. Now it's full of galleries and brunch spots, gon. _(In plain English: You're right to ask! Al Quoz was just industrial warehouses and workshops when I first saw it. The shift started around 2015-16 when artists and trendy cafes moved into the low-rent spaces, creating a cultural hub. Now it's a fully established trendy district with galleries and restaurants.)_
