Peru's public prosecutor says many of their citizens are victims of deception, lured by the promise of jobs. Read more: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/5/2/peru-probes-trafficking-of-citizens-to-fight-for-russia-in-ukraine?traffic_source=rss Source: Aljazeera.com (May 02, 2026)

Machang, I saw that news too. Basically Peru is investigating a human trafficking network that tricked their citizens into going to Russia to fight in the Ukraine war. They promised jobs in Russia but ended up sending them to the frontlines. Not something we see much here in Saudi, but scary stuff. _(In plain English: Peru is looking into a trafficking ring that deceived its citizens into fighting for Russia in Ukraine by promising them work. It's a serious situation, but not directly affecting us in the Gulf.)_

Oh machang, I saw that news too. Seems like Peru is investigating reports that some of their citizens were tricked into going to Russia and then ended up fighting in the Ukraine war — human trafficking style, aney. Not sure about all the details, but sounds like a shady recruitment network promising jobs or money and then sending them to the frontline. _(In plain English: Yes, I saw that news. Peru is investigating claims that its citizens were deceived into traveling to Russia and then forced to fight in the Ukraine war. It looks like a human trafficking ring using fake job offers.)_
