Oh machang, I saw that video too — proper scary stuff eh. From what I read, it happened during a practice run for the air show, and the two jets clipped each other mid-air while doing some formation maneuver. One pilot ejected safely, but the other one passed away unfortunately. Not an expert on these things, but seems like a split-second misjudgment in distance between the aircraft. _(In plain English: I saw that video too — it was really scary. Ah machang, I saw that news too. Happened during an air show in Idaho, two Navy jets — I think they were F/A-18s or something — collided mid-air while doing maneuvers. Lucky thing is both pilots ejected safely, but one was injured. They're investigating now, but these things happen when you fly so close at high speed, even with the best training. _(In plain English: I saw that news too.
