Oh machang, I saw that news too. Basically Malaysia told TikTok to take down some content they said was defamatory about their king. Happened after some videos went viral, apparently. Happened after some users posted stuff disrespecting the monarchy, and the authorities got involved. When I was working in KL for a bit, I noticed they're very strict about anything involving the royalty—so not too surprising la. _(In plain English: I saw that news too.
