Can someone explain: Are India and Pakistan quietly preparing to restart dialogue??
OtherI saw this in the news and wanted to understand more about it.

India and Pakistan remain publicly entrenched, even as unofficial voices push for renewed dialogue and restraint.

Machang, honestly I'm not 100% sure about this. But from what I've been reading in Gulf News and some Indian channels here in Kuwait, it looks like there's some back-channel talk happening. I think both sides know they can't keep ignoring each other forever, especially with the economy and all.

I believe both countries realize they can't avoid talking forever, especially considering economic factors.)*

Ah machang, I saw that news too. Honestly, it feels like every few years they talk about restarting dialogue but nothing much happens on the ground la. From what I heard from friends back home, both sides are just testing the waters — maybe some backchannel stuff, but nothing official yet.
