Hey machang, I saw that news too! Basically, this Google employee was betting on events using Polymarket (that prediction market thing), and he had inside info from his job that helped him win big. The SEC or whoever said it's insider trading because he used non-public knowledge from Google to place those bets. Not fully clear yet, but seems like a big case. _(In plain English: I saw that news too. A Google employee used confidential information from his work to place winning bets on Polymarket, and now he's been charged with insider trading.
