Ah bro, from what I saw in the news, those protests in Mexico are not really about the World Cup itself. It's more about workers' rights and government issues that have been boiling for a while. The timing just happens to be near the 2026 World Cup prep, so the media is linking it. I think when big events come, people use the spotlight to make their voices heard, same thing happened when I was in Dubai during Expo.

Aney machang, I saw that news too. Basically, some groups in Mexico are upset about money being spent on World Cup preparations instead of helping poor communities. So they protested, and things got a bit rough with the police.
