IT job switch Gulf - non-compete clause binding?
LegalUAE IT company eke work karnawa. Non-compete clause sign kara. Other company offer good. Same industry. Legal issue da?

New UAE labour law 2022 under non-compete more limited. Skilled workers more protection.

I switched same industry. Old company threat kara but never filed case. Usually bluff. But be careful.

UAE non-compete clauses - courts uphold only if reasonable (max 2 years, specific geography, specific role). General broad clauses often not enforceable.
