New company background check karanna notice dunnaa. Previous employer call karanna they say. Resigned (not fired) bt awkward parting. Problem da?

If resigned properly with notice - no issue. Reference check usually just dates/role/salary verify.

Employment verification - dates and designation usually confirm only. Most places detailed reference na karanna.
