Vesak 2025 — "Sadaham Varsha" — Abu Dhabi

A three-day commemoration of the Thrice-Blessed Day at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi, drawing over 2,500 Sri Lankans. Day 1 (May 11): Religious observances — "Atasil" (eight precepts), Dalada Thewawa (relic veneration), dharma sermons, and meditation led by Ven. Delgoda Gnanasumana Thero. Day 2 (May 12): Main community event with embassy grounds decorated with handcrafted Vesak lanterns, Buddha Pooja attended by the diplomatic community, and multiple Vesak Dansal (charity food stalls) offering free dinners throughout the night. Day 3 (May 13): Almsgiving and closing dharma sermon. Diplomatic guests included Thai Ambassador Sorayut Chasombat and Nepal Deputy Chief of Mission Ranjita Dahal.
