Mechanical Engineers (Bahrain)
Job Description
One of our reputed clients in Bahrain, a well-established Ship Dockyard Company, is urgently seeking qualified Mechanical Engineers with strong experience in ship repair and maintenance operations.
SALARY: BHD 280
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee mechanical repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ship machinery and equipment.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in engines, pumps, valves, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
- Prepare repair plans, allocate resources, and supervise technicians during maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with shipyard safety standards and international marine regulations.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and repair manuals.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and QA/QC teams for smooth workflow.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and daily progress updates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mandatory experience in ship repair or shipyard operations.
- Strong knowledge of marine mechanical systems and equipment.
- Ability to lead teams and manage repair activities efficiently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
