Welding Engineers (Oman)

One of our prestigious clients in Oman is looking for experienced Welding Engineers to join their team immediately.

SALARY: OMR 400 – 700 (depending on experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and control all welding activities at project sites.
• Ensure welding procedures comply with international standards and project specifications.
• Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
• Monitor weld quality, inspections, and testing activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with oil & gas project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to welding supervisors and welders.
• Prepare welding-related reports and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certificate – Mandatory.
• 5–7 years of proven experience in oil & gas / OQ projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).
• Experience in site supervision and quality control.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
