Welding Engineers (Oman)
Job Description
One of our prestigious clients in Oman is looking for experienced Welding Engineers to join their team immediately.
SALARY: OMR 400 – 700 (depending on experience)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and control all welding activities at project sites.
- Ensure welding procedures comply with international standards and project specifications.
- Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
- Monitor weld quality, inspections, and testing activities.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with oil & gas project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to welding supervisors and welders.
- Prepare welding-related reports and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certificate – Mandatory.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in oil & gas / OQ projects.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).
- Experience in site supervision and quality control.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
