Welding Quality Inspectors (Oman)
Job Description
One of our prestigious clients in Oman is looking for an experienced Welding Quality Inspector to join their team immediately.
SALARY: OMR 500 – 700
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect and monitor all welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities as required.
- Verify welder qualifications, WPS, PQR, and related documentation.
- Ensure welding works comply with oil & gas / pipeline project requirements.
- Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and project teams to resolve quality issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification: CSWIP / AWS (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas / pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).
- Experience in site inspection and quality assurance.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
