Senior Architects (Bahrain)

One of our reputed clients in the Engineering & Construction Sector in Bahrain is seeking highly experienced Senior Architects with strong design, coordination, and technical leadership capabilities. The role focuses on architectural design and coordination for building construction, housing developments, and building modification projects in compliance with Bahrain regulations.

SALARY: Negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare architectural concept designs, schematic designs, and detailed design drawings.
• Develop architectural layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Prepare project documentation including specifications and design reports.
• Coordinate architectural designs with Civil/Structural, MEP, and planning teams.
• Review drawings to ensure multidisciplinary design integration.
• Support authority submissions and approvals through relevant Bahrain regulatory systems.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain building codes, municipality requirements, and CRPEP standards.
• Participate in design meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
• Provide architectural clarification during construction and conduct site visits when required.
• Review drawings prepared by junior architects and draftsmen to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain company drawing standards and quality control procedures.
• Assist management with architectural decisions and project design strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• CRPEP Category A – Architect license preferred, or eligibility to obtain the license.
• Minimum 12 years of architectural experience.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience preferred.
• Proven experience in residential buildings, housing developments, multi-storey buildings, and building renovations.
• Strong experience coordinating architectural work with engineering disciplines.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit / BIM software.
• Knowledge of SketchUp or similar visualization tools.
• Good understanding of building design standards and construction detailing.
• Experience coordinating architecture with structural and MEP systems.
