Safety Officers (Oman)
Job Description
One of our prestigious clients in Oman, a leading Dockyard Company, is looking for experienced Safety Officers to join their team immediately.
SALARY: OMR 263
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at the dockyard site.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with Oman labour laws, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain proper safety records, documentation, and reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in dockyard, marine, or industrial environments.
- Sound knowledge of HSE standards and safety regulations.
- Relevant safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent preferred).
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
