Generator Technicians – Electrical (Qatar)
NEWJob Description
One of our reputed clients in Qatar is urgently seeking highly skilled Generator Technicians – Electrical to install, troubleshoot, repair, and commission diesel generator systems. Candidates must have hands-on experience with leading generator brands and advanced controller programming.
SALARY: QAR 3,750 – 4,250
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in diesel generators.
- Perform wiring, rewiring, and control panel modifications.
- Diagnose and repair alternator faults and AVR issues.
- Program and configure controllers such as Deep Sea Controllers (8610), ComAp, and EMCP.
- Upload/change flash files and perform controller configuration.
- Conduct generator testing, commissioning, synchronization, and load sharing.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety and operational standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Generator Technician – Electrical.
- Experience with Cummins, Volvo, and Caterpillar generator systems.
- Strong knowledge of generator electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience in controller programming and synchronization systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
