Network Engineers (Qatar)

One of our prestigious clients in Qatar, a leading Cyber Security Company, is looking for experienced "Network Engineers" to join their team immediately.

# SALARY: QAR 12,000

# REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT/OT, preferably in a Control & Automation System/OT Network Domain.
• Certifications like CompTIA, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, ACMA, GSSP, ISA/IEC62443 are highly advantageous.

Skillset:

• Strong knowledge of OT systems, network protocols, and technologies used in the process industry.
• Design and deployment knowledge of LAN and WAN solutions in OT Networks.
• Experience with network architectures such as Peer-to-Peer, Star, Ring, Tree, and Mesh topologies.
• Expertise in configuring industrial network devices like switches and routers (Hirschmann, Cisco, Fortinet, Extreme, Moxa) and firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco).
• Experience in Switch Hardening, Syslog configuration, ACL, QoS configuration, RADIUS and NAC implementation, SPAN and RSPAN configuration in network switches.
• Knowledge of network debugging and management tools.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

# JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare engineering and construction documents such as specifications, network drawings, IP address and subnet mapping, firewall rules, planning and coordination documents, method statements, and testing procedures.
• Develop construction/integration risk assessment and job safety analysis documents.
• Review and approve design and engineering drawings from Control System OEMs for network upgrades and interfaces.
• Design and implement network-based system solutions, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Plan and schedule tasks in alignment with project schedules, considering site and resource constraints, in consultation with engineering, construction, and business teams.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and customers for managing network switch upgrades, SPAN traffic configuration, and network interfaces for IDS and NCM.
• Support Network Technicians and troubleshoot issues encountered during system implementations.
• Conduct FAT/SAT, supervise installation, commissioning of network devices, and ensure project handover.
• Handle peer engineers' tasks as their delegate when required.
• Ensure transparent task handover to delegate engineers during leave.
