IDS Engineers (Qatar)

One of our prestigious clients in Qatar, a leading Cyber Security Company, is looking for experienced "IDS Engineers" to join their team immediately.

# SALARY: QAR 15,000

# REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years of experience working in Automation Systems, Control Systems Networking, Interfacing, and Integration, preferably with experience in the Oil and Gas Industries.

Skillset:

• Design and implementation of various Automation Systems, Safety Systems, and Package System Networks.
• Expertise in designing and implementing Network Interfaces for Control Networks and Plant-wide Networks, including Network Segmentation for zoning Control Systems.
• Knowledge of various software interfaces between different cybersecurity products.
• Experience with Network/Cybersecurity solutions such as Active Directory, EDR, WSUS, RADIUS, Log Management, SIEM, IDS, NCM, Backup Solutions, SOC, and Ticketing Solutions.
• Ability to coordinate with OEMs and customers.
• Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and approving engineering documents.
• Expertise in planning and scheduling tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office, fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

# JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare Engineering and Construction documents, including Specifications, Network Drawings, Planning and Coordination documents, Method Statements, and Testing Procedures.
• Develop Construction/Integration Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis documents.
• Review and approve design and engineering drawings from Control System OEMs related to system upgrades and network interfaces.
• Conduct site surveys and verify Tie-in and Interface engineering documents.
• Prepare Interface Agreement Approval Packages along with all relevant documentation as required by the customer.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and customers to manage upgrades, SPAN traffic configuration, and Network Interfaces for IDS and NCM.
