Network Technicians (Qatar)

One of our prestigious clients in Qatar, a leading Cyber Security Company, is looking for experienced "Network Technicians" to join their team immediately.

# SALARY: QAR 8,000

# REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on IT/OT Network Devices in an OT environment (Control & Automation System Network Domain).
• Certifications like NCT, CCST, CNCT, etc., are an added advantage.

Skillset:

• Knowledge of OT Network systems, protocols, and technologies used in the Process industry.
• Experience in deploying OT Network devices.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Industrial Network devices such as Switches and Routers (Hirschmann, Cisco, Fortinet, Extreme, Moxa) and Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco).
• Experience in ACL configuration, RADIUS and NAC implementation, SPAN and RSPAN configuration in Network Switches.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

# JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare documents such as Network Drawings, IP Address and subnet mapping, Firewall Rules, Method Statements, and Network Testing Procedures.
• Conduct site surveys for Network Tie-in and Interface engineering documents.
• Review engineering drawings of System Network Upgrades and interfaces prior to implementation and configuration of Network devices.
• Implement network-based system solutions, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot network issues during project implementation without further affecting system performance.
• Roll back network configurations in case of problems that impact system performance.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and customer personnel for Network Switch upgrades, SPAN traffic configuration, and Network Interfaces for IDS and NCM.
• Support FAT / SAT, installation supervision, commissioning of Network devices, and handover of projects and services.
• Assist the project team in achieving the project goals ahead of schedule timelines.
