Tendering & Estimation Engineers (United Arab Emirates)
Job Description
One of our prestigious clients in the United Arab Emirates is looking for experienced Tendering & Estimation Engineers to join their team immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable (Based on experience and qualifications)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs for projects.
- Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and technical/commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain pricing and technical inputs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness.
- Identify project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain records of tenders, estimates, and pricing data.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field).
- Proven experience in tendering and estimation in construction or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, costing, and tender preparation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and relevant tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- UAE experience is an added advantage.
