Oh machang, that's a hot topic ne. The documentary was made by Gaza-based journalists, and BBC didn't air it—some say due to pressure or editorial policy—but it still got nominated and won a BAFTA because the judges liked it independent of the broadcaster. I heard from a friend in media that sometimes these awards focus on the content's impact, not who backed it. _(In plain English: That documentary was made by journalists in Gaza, and the BBC chose not to broadcast it—possibly due to political pressure or internal rules—but it still won a BAFTA because the award panel judged it on its own merit. A friend in media told me that awards like these often look at the story's importance, not just who distributed it.)_

Oh machang, I saw that news too! So basically, this Gaza documentary was originally commissioned by the BBC, but then they dropped it—didn't air it. Later, another channel picked it up, and it ended up winning a BAFTA award. Bit of a drama, yako. _(In plain English: So the BBC had a documentary about Gaza ready, but they decided not to broadcast it. Then another broadcaster showed it instead, and it went on to win a BAFTA. Quite controversial, honestly.)_
